Cooking Instructions:
Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Season and use as you would conventional ground Italian sausage in any recipe. Cook as you would lean meat until hot all the way through - internal temperature 165°F. For meatballs, meat sauce, or crumble, cook on a preheated oiled nonstick pan or bake at high heat for a short time. Cook approx. 1/3 less time than conventional Italian sausage. Avoid overcooking. Refreeze at any stage of preparation.
